It has been recently revealed that the Xbox 360 dashboard updates are soon going to be on the block. They are going to hit the consoles on the 6th of December. The firm has further announced that with this new facility, gamers will soon be able to use Kinect technology for controlling the Xbox through gestures and voices, and making it more user friendly and close to reality.
It was further revealed that there is going to be the provision of cloud storage available for storing games as well as Xbox LIVE profiles. This is going to be available together with a new feature for broadcasting known as Beacons. It was further added that there will be integration done with Bing access and YouTube for the music and movies search, together with other console content.
Besides all these features, Microsoft is also offering multimedia content that is new and exciting. This will be inclusive of movies and music. It shall also provide access to live TV. The testers for the Xbox 360 dashboard have been out for a while now, started since the November of year 2010.
"I think the rumors are based upon leaks about modifying the current Xbox 360 to allow it to operate Windows 8", revealed Michael Patcher from Wedbush Securities.
It was further revealed that the rumors about replacing the version of Xbox are untrue and it won't be thought of until the sales drop a lot.
It's something all the gamers can look forward to and they can now enjoy their Xbox 360, with a host of exciting features to intrigue their senses and engross them in their games further.
It's a matter of time before the public gives a verdict about e version of Xbox and the firm finds out whether it was worth it or not.
