A devastating accident in Japan caused a loss of more than millions of dollars. In the history of accidents, this accident was the most expensive till date. About 14 luxurious cars were part of the mishap which took place yesterday.

To sum it up in few words: eight Ferraris, one Lamborghini and two Mercedes were among 14 luxurious cars which became victim of the blunder caused by a 60-year-old driver of Ferrari, who was allegedly shifting faultily to the left lane from the right one.

The accident took place when a convoy was moving from Kyushu to Hiroshima at 10:06 am. The driver, who has been accused for causing havoc on the road, is reportedly fined 100,000 yen along with three-month stay in jail.

It took authorities about six hours to clean up the mess from the road. About 14 luxurious cars were severely hit in the accident which caused a damage of millions. In the accident, Ferrari F-360, which costs 18 million yen, was also hit badly.

The accident was also captured by media persons. The recorded footage of the accident showed that the whole mistake behind the accident was that of the Ferrari driver. However, no damage to life has been reported as yet as the drivers have not received any kind of serious injury.

The police authorities have informed that the Ferraris involved in the accident were registered in Kyushu. According to them, the accident occurred due to a wrong shift taken by one of the Ferrari driver. It has been informed that while shifting the lane, the car struck the median barrier, the sudden smash caused the car to spin across the freeway, while the other cars collided in it. Actually, 20 luxurious cars were present at the time of the mishap but only 14 were affected.
