Obama Builds on Bush's AIDS Project

The World AIDS Day, which was observed with too grand a zest and zeal by people all over the world on December 1, was evidently outstanding. This year’s event was especially special due to a large number of reasons. Though the event left behind numerous things to watch and admire, one negative aspect is still lagging a long way.

When former US President George W. Bush went back to Africa, a continent that bagged great benefits from his unparalleled HIV/AIDS programs; US President Barack Obama expressed his commitment of bringing about an extensive escalation in providing monetary support for the treatment of patients suffering from HIV/AIDS. In addition, it has been revealed that the Magic Johnson, including the AIDS Outreach Center at Tarrant County, will be establishing a novel AIDS health clinic in the vicinity of Fort Worth.

However, an immensely bizarre thing transpired that day. In a strange act that was nowhere near related to campaigns and programs of HIV/AIDS, the biggest human rights firm in the world made itself look like an idiotic dumb frog by calling for the detainment of Bush.

Obama's declared proposals collapsed on the one started by Bush, and the US President was right on his stance of crediting his precursor for something which turned out to be a mega-magnificent project.

While expressing his opinion in the regard, the US President declared that history will mark the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief as one of the most extraordinary legacies ever recorded on Earth.

Obama also shared his comments regarding the good work done by Bush, and stated: “That program -- more ambitious than even leading advocates thought was possible at the time -- has saved thousands and thousands and thousands of lives, spurred international action and laid the foundation for a comprehensive global plan that will impact the lives of millions”.
