US 44th President Barack Obama does not want anything to go wrong this time as his re-election time is approaching. He with his administration is focusing on those rare points which would not come in the mind of other election candidates.

Their one of the agendas is to provide quality health care to US people. The Affordable Care Act is made to make sure that all the states get quality, economic and approachable health care.

This Department of Health and Human Services made the announcement, which aims to provide health cover to everybody. The HHS said it is one of the basic requirements and they would also offer a comprehensive package of services and items in this cover.

HHS Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius explained the Act in such a way, "Under the Affordable Care Act, consumers and small businesses can be confident that the insurance plans they choose and purchase will cover a comprehensive and affordable set of health services".

He also affirmed that it is not necessary that one has to follow set guidelines. It is just a basic cover and states could mend it the way they want. Every state has its own demands and according to that it could design covers.

There are some things which states could not change. Some of the services which they have to provide in every cover are regular ambulance patient service, easy admission to A&E units, speedy laboratory services.

There are some existing health packages which could be considered at the time states design their packages.

Those being group plans, state employee health plans and HMO plan. The Act also gives permission to pick up points from existing packages and add some new points so it could become a whole new package.
