Man with Bilateral Leg Implants Walking!

It has been revealed that the man, who was first in the world to have received a dual leg transplant operation, is now recovering after the operation and is taking his first steps. The man, was operated upon on the 10th of July, is now doing well, while learning to walk, all over again.

It was further revealed that the man is being taught to walk, inside a swimming pool for now, so as to relax the muscles and not exert too much pressure on the newly developed limb. The surgery was conducted by Dr. Pedro Cavadas Rodriguez, from the La F Hospital. The surgeon revealed that the patient is currently doing well, and doesn't seem to have any sort of complications.

Dr. Cavadas Rodriguez is one of the best surgeons in the world, and this is the first time such a complex dual transplant has been done on a person.

It was revealed that if all goes well, the man shall soon be able to walk on his own feet, on normal ground as well.

This is a major achievement for the feild, as this means more such operations might be attempted in the future as well, without doubting the results.

The name of the man hasn't been revealed due to privacy concerns, but it has been revealed that he is in his 20s. It is an amazing gift of being able to walk, that he has received, when he was hopeless that he has lost his legs forever.

This is actually the first time a person has survived a healthy bilateral limb surgery, and this is a commendable achievement for the field of surgery, as it means that similar cases would be treated in the future as well.
