Breastfeeding is an Established Right

In a recent incident, a nursing mother from Texas was asked to feed her baby in the dressing room and not in the clothing store. This is what sparked reactions from other women who were of the view that they should be allowed to feed their children wherever they want.

There are breastfeeding laws incorporated for allowing women to feel comfortable in feeding their children wherever they want to, and now women have formed an awakening new idea about it and this is surely going to work for their benefit.

A law formed in the March of 2010 reveals that when a woman is outdoors and wants to feed her child, she is to be offered a place for doing so, other than the bathroom. There is need for more awareness among women about their rights, which will enable them to feed their children, whenever required. It is essential that women are given the freedom to nurse their babies, without deeper thinking about the matter, as the health of the child should be the first concern for one and all.

Breastfeeding is extremely essential for babies, as it gives the necessary strength and nutrition to the child, and helps, them grow better.

People need to come to terms with a women breastfeeding her child next to them at a store, or at a clinic or at a restaurant, there is nothing to be ashamed of. It has to be incorporated in the minds of the people, that the prime motive of the same is to provide nutrition to the child, and they need to be normal with a woman doing so.

“It's going to take a couple of generations before it's a non-issue. Our ultimate goal is for people to not notice that anything is happening, just like with breathing or speaking or a baby taking a bottle”, revealed a “Nurse-in” organizer, Kelly Roth.
