It has been revealed in a recent report that there is yet another buzz created about breastfeeding in public. This happened after there was a recent incident in which a woman from Texas was told to feed her child in the dressing room, and not in public. It raises moral questions. Is it really so wrong and awkward for women to be feeding their children in public? They should be given a proper place to feed their children, other than the bathroom, according to a law.
Women need to awaken towards the laws present in the constitution for their benefit and must learn to apply them when they need it.
Women need to be given a comfortable atmosphere, and people should clearly stop feeling so uncomfortable about breast feeding in public. It's the right thing to do after all. Babies are most benefitted with the rich milk from the mother, and they need to be given nutrition, whenever and wherever essential.
Women need to be given support when they feed their infants at restaurants and stores, and so on. It shouldn't be made such a hue and cry about. There is nothing for anyone to be ashamed of; it's just a baby being fed after all.
"Mothers have the right to breastfeed their babies, but surely there are places more private than the center of a superstore. I am a mother and that is not something I wish to witness when shopping with kids or husband. What's next?" said Jancie El Jones, an online reader.
It's important that nursing mothers are provided with their rights and don't be treated unfairly. They need to be feeding their babies from time to come, and it would be helpful for her if there weren't people giving ghastly look at her and pass comments when she did so in public.
