Swedish woman Finds Missing Wedding Ring After 16 Years

In one of its kind story, a Swedish woman has found her white gold wedding ring after 16 years it got misplaced in 1995. Lena Paahlsson said she remembers that she was baking Christmas cake with her daughter in their kitchen.

In the process of baking a cake, she took out the ring and placed it on table top. Later when she got over with the cake process and looked for the ring, she could not find it. She and her family looked for the ring everywhere but could not find it.

Lena said they even pulled up floorboards but could not find it. But one fine day in October, Lena found the ring at the farm when she was picking carrots from her kitchen garden.

It was lying on the top of small growing carrot, said she. The ring does not fist Lena anymore as she has gained a lot of weight since 1995. But they have kept the ring at safe place so they could get it enlarged as per Lena’s finger.

Now this Swedish family is giving out two reasons for such an exciting finding. One reason is that the ring might have gone inside kitchen sink with potato peels which later got composed and its composition was used as soil for their garden.

Other reason is that they sometimes feed their sheep with kitchen scrap whose dung later is used as manure for the garden. In both the cases, ring remained as it is and got found out by Lena.

Lena’s husband Ola said they are quite happy to get back that ring. They fanatically looked for her ring but it was nowhere. She was quite upset and wanted her back. Ola was not at home when Lena found the ring.

He said their daughter Ala was at home who rushed to garden after hearing her mother’s scream. It was a scream filled of joy and astonishment, said Ala.
