There is no doubt that economic downturn is certainly gripping the nerves of countries across the world and certainly that has added more worries for the future of countries. On the same lines, the new national Boys & Girls Clubs president has shared his opinion about the rising number of children dropping out of schools. There has been a growing need to ensure that children are given deserving level of education and that is what even Jim Clark asserted for.
It has been known that the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee has been doing work in the same field for the last eight years. There have been many programs conducted on the same which could escalate level of literacy and even push high school graduation rates further.
There are many issues like education and poverty which are creating hurdles for children to grow in their life. There is need for such programs to start at constant rate so that such issues could be eradicated as soon as possible.
There is need to raise voice of these suffering kids in America which if given the chance could change the future of the country. The club is known to have offer range of support to many affected kids so that a better life can be offered to them. There are programs done to develop them as better human being as well as for their professional growth. Even counselors are being provided to make sure that such kids are not being left out to lurch for every single thing.
As far as the concept of the club is concerned, the credit goes to three Hartford women, Elizabeth Hammersley and Sisters Mary and Alice Goodwin who came up with this novel ideal and started the Dashaway Club. There is need for more clubs like this who can take care of poverty stricken local boys and girls. As of now, as many as 4,000 clubs in the United States have been able to quench the need of around 4 million youths annually.
