Los Angeles - US talk show host David Letterman has married long time girlfriend Regina Lasko after the pair dated for 23 years, he told the audience of his late night show Monday.

Letterman, 61, said that the couple got married at the Teton County Courthouse in Choteau, Montana where they have a country retreat.

They met in 1986 when Lasko worked on his late night talk show. The couple has a son, Harry, who was born in
