Student Falls from 2nd Floor of University Building
University-of-Michigan

It has been recently revealed that a 20- year- old student has accidently fallen from the 2nd storey of the University of Michigan. He was rushed to the hospital and is now believed to be in a stable condition. The student, who hasn’t been named as yet, is from St. Clair Shores, and took a fall from the second floor roof of the building at about 1:15 am. He seems to have fallen a good 10-15 feet, while his head struck the glass overhang he fell onto.

The authorities had to struggle to get to him, and had to break a window to finally reach the injured youth. He had head trauma but is currently in a better condition. He is undergoing treatment at the University of Michigan Hospital.

It remains a mystery why the student was climbing onto the roof of the building. There is need for a detailed investigation to determine that this was an accident, or a result of some sort of young fights.

It has been revealed that the student had attended a party before this incident took place and it is likely that he was under the influence of alcohol as well. The police have however not given a formal note on the same. They are of the view that he had gone to the second floor from the 3rd floor, and was a floor higher than when he took the fall from.

Though it looks like an accident, there is still need for further investigation to determine whether it was a suicide attempt. The name of the student hasn’t been revealed for privacy reasons. It’s a matter of time to see what the incident turns to become like in days to come.
