It has been recently revealed that in a startling incident, there was a three and a half inch nail, lodged in the brain of a man. The name of the man is Dante Autulla and he is from Chicago. This 32 years old man accidently fired the nail from a gun, while he was running errands in his garage in his own home, situated in Orlando Park.
He twitched, but thought that the nail must’ve gone past his head. The shocking fact was that it was lodged straight in his brain. There was a small wound, but since the nail was nowhere to be seen, the family members also didn’t think much about it. It was only the next morning that he felt nausea and had a horrible headache and went for a checkup.
It was found in the x-ray that the nail was still lodged in the man’s brain. It was unbelievable for the doctors as well as his family members to see a three and a half inch long nail lodged in his brain. There was a four hour long operation that was conducted for the removal of the nail from his brain, all went well, and the nail was successfully taken out of his head.
'It's a miracle,' “Mr. Autullo's brother fainted in the hospital as the doctor was discussing the possible side effects of the operation.’ Between the two of them, (they) almost killed me,' she told The Chicago Tribune”, said his fiancée Gail Glaenzer.
It was further revealed that the nail had missed the motor function end of the brain by mere bits, and this is why his normal functioning wasn’t affected. Fr a day he didn’t know there was a nail in his head.
