Twitter To Incorporate New ‘Tweet Censor’ Rules

It has been recently revealed in a report that the famous social media site Twitter might tend to lay some restrictive constraints on the personal comments put by people on some parts of the world. This has come as a reaction to the recent row that has been raised by the authorities who are of the view that many social media sites tend to allow explicit content on their sites and there is need for censoring the same.

This raised fears that there might be curbing in the freedom of speech and thought. It was also feared that the firm is doing so to restrict creativity while making money themselves. It isn’t so though and the firm is going to do so, in a effort of make the ‘tweets’ available for most people in the world, while there is a navigation being done on the different internet laws in the world.

So when this new rule is incorporated, a censorship message shall appear on the screen when an explicit tweet is removed. The firm is of the view that this shall help in solving the purpose for the government, while not creating too many problems for the users on the internet.

"One of our core values as a company is to defend and respect each user's voice. We try to keep content up wherever and whenever we can, and we will be transparent with users when we can't. The tweets must continue to flow”, revealed the firm in a recent blog post.

The firm has gained international popularity recently because it is doing something that connects one to people all over the world and has easy to use features, which help one in broadcasting their thoughts whenever and wherever they want.
