Environmental Activist Studies Unfathomable Ailment

A latest report has revealed that a new mystery ailment just like Tourette's has victimized 15 students recently at Le Roy High School in New York. Concerning the ailment diagnosed in teenagers, environmental activist Erin Brockovich has started investigating and studying the cause for the disease.

The environmental activist told that the disease had previously also occurred in some in the month of November and this is the second time that the disease has targeted 15 teenagers of the same school. He said that the disease is however unknown till now, but it is causing the same symptoms such as involuntary twitches and verbal outbursts that are seen in Tourette's illness.

It was found by the activist that in 1970, a train derailment caused a toxic chemical to spill, which contaminated a rock and soil. She found that the school is built on the same and the occurrence of the unidentified disease might be due to the same chemical.

In addition, it has been found through the report that Brockovich tried to find the cause of the ailment through her film starring Julia Roberts. It was an endeavor to show work of an activist on a water-contamination case in California, which failed during that time.

Now, Erin is again looking into the matter and trying to seek the major source for the occurrence of such disease and psychological disorder that has spread through the student population suddenly. She is suspecting that it might have arisen due to five natural gas wells bordering the school.

The symptoms are worth a big concern and are real. "It is important to understand that the symptoms of conversion disorder are involuntary, that is, the person does not consciously act out, or pretend that they have the symptoms", said the NYU Langone Medical Center.
