It has been recently revealed in a report that women drivers tend to have better car parking sense than men. This has been revealed in a new study conducted on the matter. It was revealed that women might take a little longer to park their cars, but they are more likely to do the job well.
The study has been conducted by researchers from the Ruhr University Bochum, situated in Germany. This is one of the first most detailed studies conducted on this topic. It was found that women are more adept at finding better parking places and lining their vehicles more accurately and carefully, avoiding those scratches. Men tend to park their cars in 16 seconds, in a hap hazard manner, while women take their own sweet 26 seconds for the same.
Men were found to be better drivers, but it was a problem for them, when it came to parking their cars, and they seemed to be the ones who get their cars bumped and scratched more often.
“The results also appear to dispel the myth that men have better spatial awareness than women. It shows that we men need to give our partners more respect when it comes to parking. The facts don't lie”, said Neil Beeson, a driving instructor.
Women are naturally more focused and planned in their approach towards work, and even unknowingly, they tend to incorporate it in their parking skills, wonder where these skills go while driving!
There is need for men to be more focused and careful and steady in their parking approach, so that they also can park their cars in a better organized manner, and this would help to decrease the problems of ‘dashing cars’ in the car parking.
