Girl Cuts Locks Of Mother Suffering from Breast Cancer

There was a time when kids were kept in dark about any mishappening that is going to take place in the family thinking it would affect their mental growth and they would not be able to cope from the emotional trauma.

However, now, time has changed a lot where parents want their children to know about their suffering so that they know the intensity of the problem. As per parents, it prepares them for coming adversity. Similar action has been taken by Sara Duncan, 44, who has been suffering from breast cancer.

Sara and her husband Craig decided that they would effectively involve their six year old daughter Lola for the help of Sara. So she starts getting to know about her condition. They asked Lola to cut her mother's lock and shave her head for chemotherapy process.

The couple has made a three minute video of Lola cutting her mother hair and ultimately shaving her head. They even showed the emotional video to their friends and family, who suggested that they should put the video on You Tube, which would generate funds for cancer charities.

Craig said that it was a big decision and he left it on Sara as it was quite personal moment. But Sara agreed to post her most personal moments on You Tube for a noble cause. Now the video is on the You Tube which pictures Sara and her sweet little daughter Lola.

Lola is found juggling between shaver and scissors and precisely putting her mother's each hair in china bowl. In the video, sometimes she giggles and sometimes she gets nervous, but in every moment bond between the two shows. Sara shared her experience of the video as, "Lola cutting my hair off was very cathartic. We were both laughing. We made it into a happy, giggly positive thing"
