It has been recently revealed in a report that Dough Aberle stepping down from his position has led to sparking of a political debate about who is the real reason for the failings in the utility witnessed recently. It was recently announced by Mr. Aberle that he is going to step down from his position and this has further caused a lot of chaos and angry reactions from various sides.

The Western Power was being steadily criticized and this is one of the reasons for Mr. Aberle stepping down from his spot.

There was a 2 year review ordered for analyzing the actions of the Upper House Committee, which was of the view that there is need for overhauling the leadership and the authorities of the company. It was further added that failing to do so, might mean putting a number of lives at a constant risk.

"It is a perpetual balancing act of improving safety and performance as quickly as possible, while being mindful of customer sensitivity to the potential of price increases and the necessity to ensure the network remains live and operational", said Mr Aberle.

It was further added that this is one of the steps taken to balance the staggering condition of the firm, and there is need for a lot of Strategical planning to be done, in order to reach a position that is feasible for one and all.

It remains to be seen what the events turn out to be like, after his stepping down and whether the company can regain its lost position and whether the risk present on a number of lives can be removed due to the same.
