NHS Puts Contraceptive Implants on Young Children Without Consent From Parents

In a recent report, it has been revealed that a girl, merely 13 years old, got contraceptive implants injected to herself without disclosing it to her parents. It was according to a new initiative taken for cutting the number of unplanned and underage pregnancies in the vicinity.

Many parents have reacted outrageously on this action of the school authorities. As many as 9 secondary schools have been a part of this event, and it is still unknown how many teenage girls have actually got this done to themselves, so e of them haven’t even informed their parents about such a major step they took.

“The parents send their children to school to receive a good education, not to be undermined by health workers who give their children contraceptives behind their backs. The last thing health authorities should be doing is fuelling the flames of promiscuity”, said Norman Wells, from the Family Education Trust.

These implants were given to the children by the NHS groups from Southampton.

The parents had to check their children for any sort of insertion of the device. This throws light onto crippled scenario of health facilities in the nation. The NHS is suffering from major failures and patient dissatisfaction on one hand, whereas, they have all the time in the world, to manipulate and undermine young children and het them to have these implants even without their parents’ consent about it.

It is morally wrong, and it is essential that the NHS before performing any sort of invasive procedures n these little kids, took proper consent from their parents. It is essential that parents or guardians of the children know about what they are getting done to themselves, something that might affect them for the many years to come.
