Facebook Shows Positive Impacts on Users

It has been unveiled through a recent report that Facebook can boost energy in many, cutting stress and concern levels. A team of scientists at the Pew Internet in Melbourne has claimed that social networking sites can give a person a party buzz.

The team of scientists has revealed that the buzz created by Facebook has shown that social networking is at its top and people get natural highs from the same as well. A study to test the effects of Cyberpsychology, Behaviour and Social Networking was conducted by the team that enrolled regular Facebook users, 30 in number.

As per the report, the participants were monitored by the team on the basis of their physical conditions such as blood flow, pupil dilation and breathing. They were noticed by the team while the participants were using the site. It was discovered by the team that a massive number of regular users of Facebook were interested in joining the party buzz created by it.

It was found that the buzz helped users to feel fun as well as they were noticed to be intellectually aroused and healthier. The researchers affirmed that many people spending hours on Facebook have been enjoying with friends and family with positive responses from other side making them feel pleasure.

The social networking site widely proves to be an all time companion for a mother staying alone at home throughout the day. Thus, Facebook’s benefits overshadow the harms such bullying and antisocial behaviour that were found previously to be caused by it. Rather, "It is like an online party, and the more it gets closer to that type of interaction, the greater the engagement is likely to be and therefore the greater the enjoyment for people", said Dr. Simon Crisp, a Melbourne psychologist.
