New Mental Health Centre to come up in Salisbury

It has been recently revealed that a new Northern Community Mental Health Centre will be made in Salisbury. It is one of the six sites across Adelaide where community health centers will be built. The project is worth $34 million, said the Mental Health Minister, John Hill.

The centre will be built on Park Tce in Salisbury and would provide northern suburb people an easy access to receive mental health services. The Mental Health Minister, John Hill, affirmed that their basic motive to built centers across the place is that they want to provide a nearby good mental health centre. This will reduce their time and complexities to travel far off places.

Sometimes there is not a big problem, but one has to travel long distances to confirm that their fears were not true. Now, with the upcoming project such unnecessary distances will be shortened, said Hill.

"When fully operational, the centre will include a walk-in service so anyone with a mental health issue or concern can come along for advice and support. This also offers an appropriate alternative to hospital emergency departments for people in need of help", said Hill.

It will not only be beneficial for local and nearby community, but will also be beneficial for others, who are looking for jobs. It will be an excellent job opportunity for young talent as they will be recruiting everyone from doctors to clinicians, and from counselors to community workers and from nurses to front office management staff.

Hill said that the project in which they will be opening five similar mental health community centre is a task for them. It is the first time that mental health centers are being made at such a big level.
