Senior Doctor Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Nurses

A senior doctor of Wishaw General Hospital is facing prosecution over the allegation of sexual assault by three nurses. Dr. Satpal Jabbal, a 56 years old man, has been working at the hospital as Anaesthetist. From 2001 to 2007, about three complaints have been made against him by the nurses who became the victims of his indecent behavior.

Three nurses of Wishaw General Hospital have pointed towards Dr. Satpal Jabbal for touching their private parts and for hurling attack on them. The identity and name of the nurses have not been disclosed. However, it has been informed that the cases of assault took place at times when Dr. Satpal Jabbal was giving anesthesia to the patients in the operation hall and at the time when he was with a nurse in the tea room.

The nurses have alleged that the behavior of Dr. Satpal Jabbal has been indecent towards them. He had been touching, squeezing and feeling their assets without taking prior permission from them. In one incident, which took place in the tea room, Dr. Satpal Jabbal allegedly touched boobs of a nurses and throw tea on her. The victimized nurse has informed that they had an argument over the remote of the TV.

It has further been informed that during an argument over the TV remote, Dr. Satpal Jabbal moved the TV stand in a way of threatening the nurse. The hearing over Dr. Satpal Jabbal's case is being held in Manchester. The doctor has refused all the allegations.

Since the almost last six years, the behavior of Dr. Satpal Jabbal has been a matter of discussion, an investigation over him was held in 2009 by the NHS Lanarkshire. Soon after the commencement of the investigation, Dr. Satpal Jabbal applied at Hereford Hospitals NHS Trust. While applying for the Hereford Hospitals NHS Trust, Dr. Satpal Jabbal said that he had some issues with the management of the Wishaw General Hospital.
