Los Angeles  - Singer Chris Brown pleaded not guilty to allegations of beating his girlfriend, pop star Rihanna.

Brown, 19, entered the plea Monday in Los Angeles to charges that he assaulted Rihanna in his Lamborghini February 8 on a Los Angeles street.

Brown and Rihanna, 21, have reportedly reconciled since the incident. The case has made both performers lighting rods for debates on domestic violence. (dpa)
