'Lego Rock Band' - that's the title of a new game, schedule for a 2009 holiday-season release, which comes as a result of a combined effort of Warner Bros. and TT Games with Lego, Harmonix and MTV!

Featuring quite a few songs by popular artists, like Blur (Song 2), Carl Douglas and Pink (So What), and Europe (The Final Countdown), Lego Rock Band will available for the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii/DS, as well as Playstation 3.

As per a press release, the Lego game will be fully compatible with the current Rock Band controllers!

Revealing bits of information about the new game, Warner Bros, said that it has been so-designed that even though it is essentially a kid-friendly game, with cute claw-grip plastic abstractions, still the family as a whole will experience a wild journey to rock stardom, where they can form a universe-rocking band of sorts!

With regard to the new offering, Bob Picunko, Senior Vice President of Electronic Games for MTV Games, stated: "Rock Band is a social game experience that crosses every generation and every genre of rock. Harmonix and MTV Games are big fans of the Lego game franchise and excited to work with TT Games to develop a new take on Rock Band that focuses on great music and Lego humor."
