Engadget ignites rumors about Microsoft’s endeavors to develop motion controller

Citing an unnamed yet reliable inside source, Engadget has ignited a fresh round of rumors about Microsoft's supposed endeavor towards the development of a motion sensing game, almost a year after its Xbox 360 motion controller literally deflated.

With the Nintendo Wii dominating the present scenario of the gaming consoles largely due to its motion-sensing capabilities, Microsoft does not appeared to be the one to take things lying down - the system it is rumored to be working on allows gamers to control the games with their entire body!

The source, purporting to be "in the know" of the proceedings at Microsoft, has "no idea" about how the system actually works. However, there apparently will be two sensors made use of - a mic and a camera - and the "sensor bar" would facilitate the detection of sound and full body movement.

The "sensor bar" will allow gamers to move around and control the action even without the help of a controller. The game will recognize all the actions of the gamers - be it a pinch or a punch, a kick or a grab!

The system does sound extremely fascinating, but its success would be gauged only upon its release - and, with the forthcoming E3 in June, Microsoft's magical motion controlling system could be round the corner!
