Microsoft's Windows 7 Release Candidate, scheduled for public availability Tuesday onwards, marked its appearance on the Microsoft. com site late Monday night. Earlier, the software was spotted on torrent sites, before it last week appeared on Microsoft's developer program Web sites - MSDN and TechNet.

The officially build 7100 release candidate version, would likely be the last most important public test of the operating system, before it is finalized.

The 32-bit version of Windows 7 operating system relies on the secure foundation of Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. The OS has been touted on the basis of its core tenets, like performance, security, reliability, and compatibility. Microsoft is make an all-out effort to collect the feedback required to make Windows 7 the best-performing Windows OS thus far.

The product boasts of new innovations that would enhance the users' ability in the direction of better management of increasingly mobile PCs, protection of data, and improvements in end-user as well as personal efficiency.

With the regard to the release of Windows 7, the only official disclosure has come in the form of Microsoft's intended plans of launching the new operating system before January - which marks the Windows Vista's third anniversary of wide availability. Nonetheless, the software maker is reportedly endeavoring to launch it on the PCs that would be shipped during the holiday shopping season this year!
