Acer announces two new Acer Aspire One netbooks - AO751h and AOD250

High-definition LED-backlit screens, full-sized keyboards, 3G broadband wireless connectivity, and multi-gesture touchpads - these are only some of the features of the two newly-announced Acer Aspire One netbooks, AO751h and AOD250!

The thinner and lighter, less than three pounds, new Acer Aspire One models boast of widescreen displays - 16:9 ratio – that are big enough for viewing multiple windows, along with reducing the need to scroll to view Internet sites. The netbooks are available in four different casing colors: Diamond Black, Seashell White, Ruby Red, and Sapphire Blue.

Some other specs common to both the new models include 160GB SATA hard drive; 1 GB DDR2 RAM; three USB 2.0 ports; Acer Crystal Eye Webcam; dedicated SD Card slot; Multi-in-1 Card Reader; and Windows XP with Service Pack 3. Some select models also feature up to 250GB internal hard drive, and 2GB of DDR2 memory.

While the AOD250, with $298 starting price, is powered by an Intel Atom N270 processor; the AO751h, with a starting price of $349.99, is powered by an Intel Atom Z520 processor.
