The Motorola Karma QA1 - that is the new messaging smartphone launched rather quietly by Motorola and AT&T! The new device, with a slight social-networking focus, will hit the stores on June 28, and will be priced at $79.99 including a new two-year service agreement.
According to Motorola, the Karma QA1 will facilitate a one-click access to Facebook and MySpace directly from its home screen, supported by a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard to enhance easy messaging.
Some of the notable features of the Motorola phone include A-GPS; quad-band GSM, 2.0-megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom; a 3.5-mm headset jack; MP3 player; stereo Bluetooth; 100 MB user available memory; and a microSD card slot expandable up to 16GB memory cards.
The 3G ready Karma QA1 comes with support for quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support and dual band 3G support. In addition, the new Motorola offering also boasts of WHERE Maps and GPS app compatible with AT&T's Navigator service.
Fitted with a 2.5 QVGA 240x320 262k display, the Motorola new smartphone has a stereo Bluetooth with A2DP, and USB 2.0 full speed. With its SMS, MMS, IM presence, the new phone facilitates email and message threading.
The 1170 mAh battery of the phone provides for 3.5 hours (3G) talk time, and nearly 366 hours (3G) standby time!
