Mark Ruffalo’s Brother Takes a Shot in the Head

Reports coming in say Scott Ruffalo, the 39-year old brother of actor Mark Ruffalo was shot in the head on Wednesday, sometime after 1:30 a. m., while in his Beverly Hills apartment. Receiving a 911 call, emergency workers rushed Ruffalo to an undisclosed hospital in the Los Angeles area, where he clings to life in critical condition. However, so far there are no suspect(s) and it is not clear whether it was intentional or an act of random violence.

Mark Ruffalo, 41, who has starred in films like 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind', 'Zodiac' and '13 Going on 30', took time-off from his film career due to a diagnosis of benign brain tumour, returning two years later.

Married with a stepdaughter, it is unclear whether his brother's wife or daughter were at home, when the shooting occurred.
