Dell inflated its ultra-portable range of laptops by launching its latest 12-inch notebook, the Dell Vostro 1220.
The 12-inch Vostro, which is available in Obsidian Black or Deep Cherry Red color, will be fitted with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
The new model promises up to 9 hours of battery life, Wi-Fi support or optional mobile broadband for connecting to a wireless carrier.
Other salient features of the Vostro1220, includes, 320 GB hard drive or an optional solid-state drive, up to 4 GB of system memory, a Webcam and microphone, pre-installation of videoconferencing software, Dell Video Chat, and a number of security options and fast 802.11n connectivity.
The new model of Vostro is available with 1-year limited warranty.
Prices of Vostro 1220, starts at $799, which is comparatively less when compared with Apple's MacBook Air, that is available in the market at the cost of $1500.
