Boeing Co. reported a loss of 73 orders for jets this year, which includes cancellation of 15 Dreamliner 787.
Last week fifteen planned purchases were cancelled by Qantas Airways Ltd.
However, the company has pocketed 13 new orders for Dreamliners, which made the order graph to soar to 850.
Boeing, the world's second-biggest commercial-plane maker informed it sold 125 aircraft in the second quarter. The company hopes to sell 480 to 485 aircraft in the whole year.
It is worth mentioning here that for the year to date at June 30, Boeing pocketed 85 orders and 84 cancellations, providing the company with net order of one plane for 2009.
Boeing's shares have plunged after its announcement last week regarding the postponement of the test flight of its Dreamliner 787.
The company's shares closed at $40.83, down $1.40, or 3.3 percent.
