Canon U. S. A. has come up with a mind-blowing collection of printers, which includes two ImageClass laser printers, two new Pixma all-in-one models and a compact Selphy photo printer.
Every single model is Mac and PC-compatible.
The ImageClass MF8050Cn and MF8350Cdn are going for sale in September 2009 with tag prices of $499 and $699 correspondingly.
The MF8350Cdn possesses copying speed of up to 21 pages a minute in color as well as in black-and-white. The two-sided printing is also a strong feature of this printer.
The MF8050Cn model has the ability to print at up to 8 ppm in color and 12 ppm in black-and-white.
The Pixma MP620 is compact and convenient. The MP560 features five ink tanks and has a 2-inch LCD screen for menus and image viewing.
The Pixma MP560 is an inkjet printer that supports Wi-Fi 802.11b, g protocols and PictBridge-compatible cameras. The ability to print out pictures from USB flash memory devices adds to its value.
Another all-in-one unit is Pixma MP490. It comes with four-color inks and has the ability to print out a 4 x 6 inch photo in about 43 seconds.
Canon's newest compact photo, dye-sub printer, the Selphy CP790 costs $180. It is equipped with a 3.0-inch LCD display and can print a 4 x 6 inch photo in 43 seconds.
