Verizon Wireless has confirmed that it would bring Palm Pre on its network in early 2010.
Palm Pre, the strongerest challenger to Apple's iPhone is presently available on the Sprint Nextel network in US.
However, the contract between Palm and Sprint Nextel is going to exhaust by the end of the running year.
The new operating system of Palm Pre, webOS can sync wirelessly to online services such as Facebook and Google.
The Palm Pre is equipped with a sliding keyboard, 3.1-inch display, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, 8 GB of on-board storage, Wi-Fi, plus a 3.0 megapixel camera.
Verizon Wireless has been enjoying exclusive rights to provide network to the BlackBerry Storm, but it could not satisfy its users.
Verizon also has plans to come up with its own application store for smartphones.
Palm Pre, which has brought laurels to the company, may possibly help Verizon in checking its subscribers' migration to rival companies.
Sprint declined to comment on the topic.
