Sony Corp's new Party-shot camera may make photographers to ponder over their future again.

The Japanese electronics giant, Sony Corp's Party-shot personal photographer that is also known as IPT-DS1 is a self rotating camera dock that automatically detects faces, adjusts composition and snaps pictures of its surrounding.

User will have to just dock his camera onto party-shot and it will automatically pan 360 degrees and tilt 24 degrees to capture more natural photos.

Shigehiko Nakayama, a big shot at Sony Electronics, said, "With the Party-shot personal photographer, you no longer have to worry about taking photos when you are with your family or friends."

The Party-shot is powered with two AA batteries that will keep the device going for up to 11 hours.

The Party-shot is compatible with the recently launched DSC-WX1 as well as DSC-TX1 Cyber-shot digital cameras. Both DSC-WX1 and DSC-TX1 employ Sony's 10- megapixel "Exmor R" image sensor.

The Party-shot will be available in September, priced at nearly $150. is available to pre-order from today and should be in stores next month at about $150.
