Samsung launches 8000 series LED TVs in India; adds 32” and 55” models to existing series!

After the April launch of its 6000 and 7000 series of LED TVs in the Indian market, Samsung has now followed up with its latest offering for the country - the bigger, pricier 8000 series LED TVs! The 55-inch model of the newly-launched 8000 series is Samsung's flagship LED TV offering in India!

The newly-lunched 8000 series LED line-up is slimmer than its earlier counterparts, and boasts of a 200Hz refresh rate for enhanced quality of fast moving images; and high dynamic contrast ratios for more clarity and superior color reproduction.

Along with the launch of the 8000 series LED TVs, Samsung has also announced the addition of two new models for its existing LED TVs - a 32-inch model to its 6000 series and a 55-inch model to its 7000.

With the new launches, the Indian market now boasts of three Samsung LED TV series - 6000, 7000 and 8000; in four screen-sizes each - 32-inch, 40-inch, 46-inch and 55- inch. The costs of these models fall in the range of between Rs. 69,900 to Rs. 3,00,000.

Samsung's LED TV models have inbuilt tuners, and the exclusive USB 2.0 movie feature to makes it easy to watch videos and photos from a camcorder; play music from a media player; or access multimedia files from a portable drive. Further, the built-in Content Library Flash of the LED TVs features diverse pre-loaded content that the users can enjoy watching at leisure!
