Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter is planning to automate and formalize retweeting.

"Retweet" button would allow users to repost another writer's tweets as his own.

A small block of text would indicate towards the identity of the retweeter.

Micro-blogging site is working on a new tool that will make retweeting smoother. The new tool will enable its Twitter-users to share tweets with their group with out copying and pasting them manually.

Up to now, retweeting can be done only by cutting and pasting the tweet and then adding attribution at the opening or end of the post, which makes it really uncomfortable.

The micro-blogging site informed that new retweeting options should be available on its website within a week or two.
