Microsoft, the software giant, has brought special offerings for the Britons.

Amazon. co. uk is presenting Windows 7 Home Premium for as little as £64.98, letting buyers to save 57% from the official retail price.

Windows 7 Home Premium is going to be unveiled formally on October 22.

The Windows 7 Professional is being offered for £149.98, at a discount of 32%, while the Ultimate versions of the Window 7 are offered for £168.98, 26% less than its official retail prices.

Normally, Britons pay more as compared to their US counterparts.

But in US, Amazon. com is selling the Windows 7 Home Premium for $199.99 or £121.65, Windows 7 Professional for $299.99 or £182.48 and the Ultimate version of the Window 7 for $319.99 or £194.64.

However, Microsoft would ship European edition of Windows 7, which would not contain a pre-loaded copy of Internet Explorer.
