According to a recent report in The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), the Apple CEO Steve Jobs - who has returned to office in June, after a liver transplant and medical leave for six months - has, of late, been focusing his attention on Apple's much-rumored tablet device.
The report said that though the tablet is getting undivided attention from Jobs as he is overseeing all its aspects, he has a more notable inclination towards the marketing and advertising strategy for the device - more so as he has had a marked penchant for putting forth the ideal message for all forthcoming products!
Moreover, despite the fact that his present health condition does not permit him to work throughout the week, Jobs is noticeably 'up and about' in terms of a complete scrutiny of all stages of development of the tablet - so much so that most of the Apple employees, who have become somewhat slothful in Jobs' absence, find his presence rather unnerving!
The WSJ report notes that Jobs focus on the tablet device is perfectly understandable, given the fact that ever since Apple unveiled the iPhone in 2007, it has not released any new product category.
In response to WSJ's Yukari Iwatani Kane's request for comment on the rumored tablet, Jobs said in his characteristic manner: "Much of your information is incorrect," and refrained from providing any further details!
