The National Football League may penalize the New York Jets for not revealing last season Brett Favre’s torn biceps tendon.

The National Football League is reviewing comments made by former Jet quarterback Brett Favre about his status on weekly injury reports last season.

At present Brett Favre has contract with the Minnesota Vikings.

Brett Favre played out the final games in 2008 with a torn biceps tendon. Brett Favre said that he wanted to sit out.

Mike Tannenbaum, general manager of New York Jets has also admitted that they should have revealed Favre’s torn biceps tendon.
