Suspect Says Scott Ruffalo Shot Himself Playing Russian Roulette

Shaha Mishaal Adham, 26, who turned herself in after the Beverly Hills police issued a warrant for her arrest, in connection with the shooting at Ruffalo's Beverly Hills apartment last week, is being held without bail and has told the police that US film star Mark Ruffalo's brother shot himself playing Russian roulette.

Scott Ruffalo, 39, a hairstylist by profession, clung on to life till Monday night, succumbing a week later to the gunshot wound to the head. No other details of his death have been mentioned.

According to TMZ, Adham told police, she only went to collect her Land Rover Ruffalo had borrowed, when in her presence and that of another person, Ruffalo shot himself in the head, while playing the dangerous game of chance. Adham claims, she bolted immediately after the shooting and called her boyfriend - Brian Scofield, who then dialed 911.

Scofield, who accompanied Adham to the police station Monday, was booked for a misdemeanor traffic warrant for past violations. He is also being described as a person of interest in the case.

Of note is the fact that in 2002, Scott Ruffalo was convicted for possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
