Vodafone has come out with its novel 360 mobile internet service. This service gathers "all of a customer's friends, communities, entertainment and personal favorites such as music, games, photos and video in one place."
Via the Vodafone 360, all of the contacts from the mobile phone, social networks and other internet accounts are brought together.
"The service is automatically backed up and synchronized, regularly and wirelessly, between the mobile and PC or Mac," said the company.
The service also boasts a 'connected' address book dubbed Vodafone People, which is open to everyone on any network across over 100 handsets and automatically syncs all contacts from a customer's handset, Facebook, Windows Live Messenger and Google Talk. Very soon, it will also include Twitter, Hyves and studiVZ.
Furthermore, a catalogue of over 1,000 applications is also a plus point, which will be available to different handsets, downloadable through the Vodafone Shop.
This catalogue will work across an array of mobile phones like the two new, exclusive Vodafone 360 phones created by Samsung, and syncs automatically with the PC. A 3D contact display will be featured by the Samsung handsets.
A 3.5 inch multitouch, high definition screen, 16GB memory, Wi-Fi and a five-megapixel camera, equipped in the Vodafone 360 H1 by Samsung makes it worth buying. After the launch of Vodafone 360 H1, a second Samsung handset, offering customers a range of colours and price points would also be unveiled.
Four Nokia Symbian smart phones will come pre-loaded with Vodafone 360 at launch.
Eight European countries will witness the launch of these services and handsets by Christmas.
