‘Dragon Age: Origins’ to hit PS3 November 3, alongside PC and 360 versions
Dragon Age: Origins

Going by a recent announcement from the Sony quarters, its PlayStation 3 version of the popular role-playing game 'Dragon Age: Origins', from BioWare, will see a North America launch on November 3, alongside its counterpart versions for the Xbox 360 and PC. However, as per reports, the European edition of the game will likely be released at a later date in November.

A "dark heroic fantasy role-playing game" - that's how BioWare has described 'Dragon Age: Origins,' which has been given an 'M' rating for 'Mature,' based on its language, intense violence, bloodshed, partial nudity, and sexual content. However, the gore can be somewhat reduced by the viscera-adverse.

The most recent announcement pertaining to the US launch of 'Dragon Age: Origins,' after it earlier gave a somewhat indefinite "November launch" window for the game, came during a recent line chat session held by Sony.

Along with confirming the November 3 launch of the game, BioWare cofounder and Electronics Arts' (EA) role-playing game chief Ray Muzyka also said that even the game's PlayStation Trophies would correspond to the Xbox Live achievements of the 360 version.

About the trailing release date of the game for European gamers, Muzyka said: "We're still working on the EU release timing for PS3. We'll have an announcement on that shortly--it's still planned for some time a bit later in November."
