Disney's Double Dose for iPhone and iPod Users
Double Dose for iPhone and iPod Users

Giving the subscribers an opportunity to access Disney features any time anywhere, Walt Disney Co. is on the verge of launching free touch applications for iPhone and iPod users.

Disney.com is a part of the Disney Interactive Media Group, which reaches to nearly 31 million visitors every month.

According to the sources, the new Click2Life application will offer the users with feature like downloading pictures or images from the official website of Disney.

For instance, a subscriber can generate video content related to the picture or the poster of an upcoming film, which the user has captured in an iPhone.

“The media giant has now realized that there is a major percentage of iPhone and iPod touch users, which are yet to be targeted. Our iPhone and iPod touch traffic is heavily made up of kids and moms," said Jason Davis, vice president of Disney.com.

The new application will offer video downloads, games and live streaming of Disney Radio, and will allow users to watch music videos and buy Disney music from Apple's iTunes store.
