Amazon Introduces Short Cut for Making Online Payments

Giant online retailer Amazon. com has, with the aim to make online shopping for its customers easier and quicker, introduced "PayPhrase" which is a shortcut method of making payments and purchases online. The preparation has been made by the shopping portal to better equip itself for the soon to start Holiday season rush.

Customers who wish to use PayPhrase will have to set up a unique phrase and a 4 digit PIN which will be linked to their Amazon. com account, where each customer's individual shipping address and payment information is kept safe. Whenever shoppers will make a purchase on Amazon or any of its partner website, they will be able to confirm their order and check out within a matter of seconds using the PayPhrase and PIN.

"We think this is a huge benefit for the holidays", said Matt Williams, general manager of Amazon PayPhrase. "The vision of PayPhrase is truly to be able to allow you to pay instantly wherever you want to pay".

The development has been made in the light of the fact that Amazon has recently made surging profits and is expecting a very heavy rush during the upcoming months. Also, according to data posted by Shop. org, online retailers are expecting their holiday business to rise by a minimum of 15%.
