Contradicting the couple's repeated denials that they only started dating after Pitt split from Aniston, Brad Pitt has finally come out with the truth, only to reveal he fell in love with Angelina Jolie, his current live-in partner, while still being married to Jennifer Aniston. Confirming rumours and reiterating Jolie's recent confession, Pitt admits they got together in May 2004, during the filming of 'Mr & Mrs Smith', seven months before his split from former 'Friends' star.
Their relationship broke loose in the media, when in April 2005 photographs of the two holidaying together in Kenya surfaced, a bare three months after he split from Aniston. In December 2005, Pitt and Angelina confirmed they were a couple, when Pitt announced he would be adopting Maddox and Zahara, Jolie's adopted children.
Apparently, actress Jennifer Aniston did seem to be aware that her ex-husband and Angelina Jolie were growing closer. She reveals that Angelina's announcement of falling in love with Pitt while he was still married, has 'confirmed' her suspicions, at the time. Aniston in her interview with GQ magazine says: 'Well, you know, that was definitely a confirmation for me of something that wasn't quite confirmed at the time'. Trying not to let the news upset her, the Friends star, trying to laugh off the whole incident, says: 'But listen... You sit there and you... No. No daggers through the heart. I laugh. Am I surprised? Well, how do I say this?... Considering the source, nothing surprises me.'
Today, Pitt and Jolie or Brangelina as the pair are called are the parents of six children, three adopted and three biological.
