Toshiba Launches Laptop Trade-In Scheme

PC manufacturing and Technology major Toshiba has recently launched a laptop trade-in for customers looking to buy machines with the new Windows 7. Promising up-to ?150 cash-back, the company's scheme is accepting laptops of all makes. Value of the cash-back will be decided by Toshiba based, as said by the company, on the "condition and specification" of the machine.

In addition to giving users cash for their old laptops, Toshiba has also promised to recycle them, refurbish them in the best way possible and out them up for resale. If nothing else, they will be disposed off in the most environment friendly way.

Users, after buying fresh Windows 7 based Toshiba laptops, can get their old computers evaluated at the Toshiba trade-in website. The appropriate amount, if any, will be send via cheque or PayPal within ten days, the firm confirmed. The scheme, which was launched yesterday, will run till end of January 2010.
