Innovative and Interesting Fundraiser Ideas
Innovative and Interesting Fundraiser Ideas

Think fundraisers and catalogue sales are the first thing that comes to the mind. But there are some other more innovative and interesting ways to raise money for your school, which are a complete break from the traditional, and sure to attract more customers.

Some of the winning ideas include basket raffles, tupperware and holiday flower sales. For basket raffles, each class can choose a theme, and donate items for the basket. Assuming that $1 raffle tickets are sold for every basket, you could end up raising nearly $2,000 for your school. The second option, tupperware, is just like your regular catalogue sales, but the products are much more interesting. You could collect orders and money beforehand, and stand a chance to earn at least 40% of the total sales.

As for holiday flower sales, these are best when held right before Mother's Day. Pick a local nursery that is willing to sell potted and hanging plants at discounted rates, and then send order forms to students' homes. People can then pick their orders at the school.

Other interesting ideas include providing entertainment coupon books, holding candy sales and garage sales, each of which are unique in their own way and stand a chance of raising huge amounts of funds.

Old and traditional ways of raising funds have been around for very long, so that next time you want to do something good for your school, try one of less used, more interesting ideas, which also pay well.
