Fusion Garbage to Demonstrate CrunchPad Next Week

After creating a lot of excitement, the CrunchPad seemed to have vanished, but fans have been up and waiting again as the controversial offering gets ready to make its debut on "Monday CrunchPad Morning" for reporters and industry analysts all around. CEO of Fusion Garbage, which is developing the CrunchPad in association with TechCrunch, Chandra Rathakrishnan, will come face to face with the media via a conference call which has been scheduled for 9:30 am Pacific time, and demonstrate the device in action.

Also, post the demo, Mr. Rathakrishnan will also offer private briefings about the device, and the CEO is using this opportunity to talk about his side of the whole CrunchPad controversy. Whether or not Fusion Garbage wants to actually sell the CrunchPad is very unclear, but if it does, the move would not be possible without TechCrunch's complete involvement.

On November 30, Michael Arrington, founder of TechCrunch, came forward and slapped Fusion Garbage with the accusation that the company is trying to cut his firm out of the whole project, and CrunchPad is "officially dead". The complete intellectual property rights to the device and concept belong wholly to TechCrunch.

The world is now eagerly waiting Monday when the device will first come to light and then everyone will hear Fusion Garbage's version of the CrunchPad story.
