Orbitz Worldwide, a leading global online travel company has signed a distribution pact with Millennium and Copthorne Hotels & Resorts, to offer their European and Middle Eastern properties on its Web sites.
Under the arrangement, all properties will be made available through a portfolio of Orbitz Worldwide online travel brands, including Orbitz, CheapTickets, ebookers. com, HotelClub and RatesToGo.
These international hotels complement Millennium and Copthorne Hotels' full selection of U. S. properties presently offered through Orbitz Worldwide. Millennium and Copthorne Hotels owns and runs 24 properties in Europe, as well as some in the Dubai region and the Middle East.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed by the company till now. Last week Orbitz registered a bigger Q3 loss and said it plans to cut its U. S. work force by 10 percent.
