Genesis, ABBA, Jimmy Cliff, the Stooges and the Hollies made it into the class of 2010 of the Hall of Fame of Rock and Roll. It was reported with the additional news that Donna Summer from Boston had been looked over yet again even though she has been working extra hard to make money.
Summer could be miffed but it seems that Gene Simmons' KISS was also passed over for ABBA and Simmons doesn't look too pleased about it as KISS entered the nominations for the very first time this year and it is a valid and notable fact that the number of their gold records topped other bands in America.
The choices of the Rock Hall has been as unusual as usual and with the Stooges who made the cut after being rejected seven times, it still remains to be seen if KISS will make the next time.
All those who were selected are to be inducted officially on March 15 in a grand ceremony at New York City and it has also been reported that the performers and presenters of the ceremony, which is to be held at Waldorf Astoria in NYC, will be made public in the year
2010.
