Apple's iPhone has been around for a considerable period of time now, but its popularity has not managed to go down one bit. In fact, the phone is still making huge waves the world over, especially in Japan, which has long been considered a tough market to impress, especially when it comes to devices and gadgets.
Apple has continued to add more markets for the iPhone all across the globe and the plan is paying off really well too. Mobile as firm AdMob's latest analysis has revealed that the number of unique iPhone users is now "split 50-50 between the US and the rest of the world". In all, the firm has shared that the number of iPhone and iPod Touch users has grown by at least 150% over the past 1 year alone.
The biggest surged, however, has been recorded by Japan, with a 300% hike in users.
It has been reported that the number of iPhone users in international markets is growing much faster than the number of American and Canadian sectors, but these nations already have a relatively large user base.
